Description
This is the perfect hatching experience for those that have hatched multiple times in the past or have older children at home as these eggs are TINY and are more fragile during incubation as well as after they have hatched. But wowzas, are they worth it!
Seramas are the world’s smallest recognized breed of chicken (and most expensive globally). This breed originated in Malaysia as far back as the 1600’s and wasn’t imported to the USA until 2000
They only weigh a whopping 13 – 19 OUNCES when they are full grown! They hatch out in three feather types (smooth, frizzle, silkie) and they are fantastic eggs layers, providing 180-200 eggs a year and love to go broody and hatch their own eggs.
These sweet little minis have very BIG personalities and are very gentle and docile birds with quieter dispositions making them great additions to any family farm or backyard hen program!
The eggs will incubate for approximately 19-20 days. After hatching, you can enjoy the cuteness for another week or so. Once we take the chicks back, we return them to the farm to join their brood.
We provide everything you will need for the experience so aside from finding a great spot to set up there is nothing that you need to worry about.
Pick up and drop off is at a central meeting spot in whichever location your chosen dates land on. Please note that the pickup time is 5pm to 6pm and drop off is 6 to 7pm
